Our Mission

The Foundation for Oklahoma City Community College works to benefit, support and enhance the programs of the college and to have a transformative impact on the lives of our students and community.

The Foundation for OCCC is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with a single purpose - to support the people and programs of OCCC. The Foundation was established in 1998 when community and education leaders realized that facilitating private support would be important to the future of the college. The college pays salaries and most overhead for the Foundation, so donors' gifts are used as the donors intend. The Foundation is audited annually by an external auditing firm.

Foundation policies, including gift acceptance, investment and spending policies, are determined by a volunteer Board of Trustees. The board includes a wide range of business, legal, nonprofit and government executives, as well as retired community leaders. Click here to see who serves on the Board of Trustees.

The legal name of the Foundation is Oklahoma City Community College Foundation, Inc. and the federal tax ID is 73-1529564. The Foundation has earned Gold transparency from Candid, formerly known as GuideStar.
